1000 Companies to Inspire is London Stock Exchange Group’s celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. As well as identifying 1,000 companies, the annual reports examine in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the European economies.
The selected companies from the London Stock Exchange this year have produced approximately 2,400 patents and 1,600 trademarks and have generated a total of about 218.000 jobs, registering an average growth of 66% of the workforce in two years, even in countries where the problem of unemployment is alarming. In the report, Italy is in fourth place behind Germany (170), France (150), England (150) with 110 selected companies.
